"It’s a blend of Cantonese cuisine and other mainland Home cooked style dishes. They offer a 3 dish dim sum special on the weekends. The menu is quite extensive so 10/10 for authenticity for both dim sum and their regular dishes. Dim sum are mini sized steamed dishes meant to be enjoyed over tea think tapas style. It’s traditional and pretty much everywhere in canton China and also very popular in the USA for weekend brunch. Glad it’s catching on here. We tried the shrimp rice noodle roll, pork ribs, and thousand year egg pork congee. These are the most authentic dim sum I’ve had in Berlin thus far. They even prepare their congee in the traditional clay pots. My hubby being German loves duck so he took that and I added another order of water spinach cooked in fermented flavor and it was both really delicious. Authentic, awesome overview of different cuisines, taste to value was good. We ordered enough for 4 persons and it came about to 73 euros including drinks. Highly recommend if you want non germanified Chinese cuisine"

"I stopped by this dim‑sum joint on a whim, and it turned out to be a fantastic surprise. At first I felt a little uneasy—there were only a few Chinese staff members, and the three tables around us were filled with white Americans ordering vegetarian dishes. I wondered if I’d made the wrong choice. But once the kitchen started sending out plates, the atmosphere shifted. The waitress, with a playful grin, told me “only the Laowai come early,” and she wasn’t kidding—the place quickly filled with a lively mix of locals and diners. The noise level rose, the chatter grew louder, and the food kept arriving—each dish more delicious and authentic than the last. Highlights: Chicken Feet – perfectly braised, tender, and seasoned just right. Pig Intestines – surprisingly flavorful, with a satisfying chew. Other Dim Sum – a great variety of classic bites that reminded me of the bustling street stalls I loved back in Hong Kong. Overall, this spot captures the gritty charm of a true Hong Kong dim‑sum experience, right here in town. If you’re looking for authentic flavors and a lively vibe, give it a try—you won’t regret it!"

"This spot was a wonderful choice for an evening out, especially for my friend's birthday celebration! The whole experience was great, with friendly staff and a warm, inviting vibe. The menu had a delicious variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, and everything we tried was fantastic — full of flavor and clearly made with care. The atmosphere itself was cozy and added to the enjoyment of the evening. Highly recommend for a relaxed and tasty night out with friends or family!"

"Laoxiang is definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants in Berlin. We came for their Sunday brunch deal; 16€ per person for three dishes and free green tea. The food is authentic as you can get!! They are delicious and the portions are huge. I’d highly recommend to skip breakfast if you are planning to take the Sunday brunch deal. Pro tip: you must come early around 11 am to get a table, otherwise you’ll need to queue."

"Cantonese style Chinese food in humongous portions! Come here if you’re hungry and ready to try a lot of things. The flavours were very umami forward, really big and tasty, and some decent spice in dishes like the duck. Spare ribs were so flavourful, if not a little small. But very delicious all the same. Prices were democratic for what you get and the service was efficient, very friendly, and welcoming, even as we waltzed in at 22:00. Bring a group and get everything!"
